YABC Downtown Brooklyn, NYC
Our scholars are learning through Social Innovation and the pedagogy of Book Of Keyz Part 1. The Blueprint for College Readiness and Mentorship. Turning them into well-rounded citizens.
Our 3-Day Workshop opened the door for healthy dialogue surrounding credit, student behavior breakthroughs, and motivational encouragement through our Great Debate; our Q&A process helps us learn students on a 1st name basis. Learning each scholar fosters a bond and provides background on navigating each student, uniquely empowering them to be proactive and decisive in their thinking. No student left behind means just that: we serve to motivate them to become the best versions of themselves.
3-Day Workshop
Business Plan Assignment
Students take part in a 3-Day Workshop to learn about entrepreneurial pathways. Per the Q&A, the Blonka Movement creates a space for takeaway notes that highlight a focus on our scholar's expressed Dream Business and navigate with them how to accomplish that long-term goal, making it a short-term goal plan within our sessions. The student learns the business structure that goes into creating a successful business and takes a drive in learning how to establish personal and business credit as their foundation, making them accountable at the start of creating their Legacy as they prepare for Life and adulthood.
